Robert Earl Bailey, Jr., 75, of Frankfort, passed away May 14, 2026 in his home. He was born on September 15, 1950 in Cadiz, Indiana to Robert E. Sr. and Emma (Hedrick) Bailey. He married Charissa (Holland) Bailey on November 23, 2020 and she survives.
Robert was a 1969 graduate of Shenandoah High School and attended Indiana University Kokomo. He served in the United States Airforce from 1969 to 1979, serving in Vietnam. Robert retired as an electrician, working for both General Motors and Wabash Alloys. His hobbies included fishing, reading his Kindle, and woodworking.
Surviving along with his wife: Charissa are his children: Hannah (Michael) Bailey of Frankfort, IN, Calvin (Kayla) Bailey of Oklahoma, Ashley Hendon of Peru, IN, Michael (Courtney) Chapman of Peru, IN, and Joshua (Sara) Hendon of Massachusetts, grandchildren: Karter, Kinzlee, Maverick, Brentley, Adreanna, Carlie, Haylee, Aria, and Kayden, and his sisters: Pam Bailey Badgely of Spiceland, IN and Debi (Ron) Bailey Jones of Hagerstown, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Ralph Bailey, and brother-in-law: Joseph Rick Badgely.
