The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for most all of central Indiana, including Clinton County, from 2 a.m. to noon Sunday.
This advisory is for ice accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch. In addition far northwest sections may also receive snow accumulations in excess of an inch. Icing and slick roads will result in difficult travel conditions. Motorist should also be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.
Besides Clinton, other affected areas will be Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Carroll, Clay, Daviess, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Knox, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Martin, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Sullivan, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren.
