Organizer Mark Newhart has announced he has organized a community conversation called ‘March for Our Lives’ that will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, at Veterans Park in downtown Frankfort.
Individuals of all ages are invited to come and discuss teen suicide, mental health, addition, safety in schools and more. Mayor Chris McBarnes, Frankfort Police Chief Troy Bacon and the Clinton County Ministerial Association are among the local officials who will be in attendance. Newhart added he has talked to school superintendents and reached out to legislators in trying to find some experts in each field.
Newhart added this will be a gathering only with no marching.
