The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory along and north of a Lafayette to Rushville line from 2 a.m. tonight to 10 a.m. Saturday.
The advisory includes Clinton County along with Carroll, Delaware, Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Howard, Madison, Randolph, Rush, Tippecanoe and Tipton counties.
The main threat will be freezing rain. .However, this may begin as a mixture of wet snow and freezing rain in some areas. Total wet snow accumulations of up to one half inch and ice accumulations of one tenth to two tenths of an inch are expected. Some ice accumulations and slick roads are possible and this may result in slow travel.
Motorists should be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
