The Lebanon Fire Department announced the inclusion of a special guest Monday morning who experienced the wonders of being a firefighter.
Reed Walters, a fourth-grade student at Central Elementary, was greeted by the Engine 212 crew for a ride to school in a fire truck Monday morning where he was able to learn more about the crew, the fire truck and the wonders of being a firefighter throughout his time with the crew members.
“The crew enjoyed the opportunity to get to know Reed and taxi him around town,” the department released. “LFD is proud to offer this program, which allows us to better connect with the community and gives Lebanon students a unique opportunity to ride in the big red truck.”
