Clinton County Health Department Investigating Food-Borne Illness

The Clinton County Health Department and the Indiana State Department of Health are investigating multiple complaints about a potential food-borne illness outbreak in Frankfort. Jessica Fearnow with the Health Department says if you have become ill within the last 3-10 days after dining out, please contact 765-659-6385 ext. 1305. You will need to provide the following details:

– A 72hr food diary before symptoms fully set in
– What kind of symptoms you are experiencing and how long they have lasted
– And Where you ate and what was eaten

A stool sample will need to be collected and sent to the State for further testing to determine the underlying cause of this potential outbreak. The Health Department will provide specimen tubes for.
