It is unusual and notable for anyone to dedicate 30 years of service to any career position. Darcy Pippenger is the first woman to retire from the Frankfort Post Office with 30 years under her belt. It is also notable that 100% of her U.S.P.S time was accumulated at the Frankfort Office alone.
Darcy and her husband, former Frankfort Mayor Chris Pippenger, have no specific plans yet for the extra time they will have on thier hands by the end of the month.
