Frankfort Police Department leadership recognized Sergeant Evan Hall as the 2019 Officer of the Year at the Department’s annual awards banquet. Hall demonstrated outstanding achievement and performance above and beyond his normal duties in serving as an example of leadership and professionalism.

According to Police Chief Troy Bacon, the Officer of the Year award is given to an officer whose efforts go above and beyond normal duties and requirements involving outstanding performance, professionalism, superior judgment, sensitivity, and leadership.

“I am extremely proud of Sergeant Hall. Since being hired in 2013, Evan has continued to focus on self-improvement while demonstrating care and compassion for his fellow officers. Evan was asked to take on several new roles last year and exceeded expectations,” Bacon said.

Hall also received a department commendation in October for his calm leadership under extreme pressure, command situational awareness, and resource/personnel utilization during an incident on S Williams Street. Other officers who received department commendations in 2019 include Officer Marisol Douglass, Officer Jordyn Kuglarz, Officer Blake Ramos, and Officer Dallas Snell.
