Frankfort Hit By Power Outage

There is a large power outage in Frankfort.  Frankfort City Light & Power is aware of the issue and currently working on it.  Please use caution as many traffic lights are not working due to the power outage.

USB General Manager Todd Corrie and others assess situation near Washington Avenue and Burlington Avenue. Large tree fall took out high voltage lines causing lasting power outages in City of Frankfort. Corrie called in Partyline this morning to keep residents informed.  Some power restoration will be possible by rerouting but damage was extensive and repair may require at least most of the day to restore.
