Frankfort Wrestlers Capture Clinton County Meet Title

The Frankfort High School wrestlers had an outstanding team showing in the Clinton County meet Thursday night at Clinton Prairie. The Hot Dogs had to move our line-up around to put the most competitive team on the mat.

“We took a few gambles and it paid off,” said FHS head coach Richard Sallee. “We got two great dual meet wins, 50 to 18 over Clinton Prairie and 54 to 18 over Clinton Central. Big shot outs go to Vladimir Carreras and Brenton Wood with their first varsity wins.”

The team is back in action Saturday at Twim Lakes 16-team invite. Emma Pillion and Abby Bautista will also be wrestling in their first all girls tournament Saturday at Penn High School.
