High School Football Continues on WILO, Shine TV

riday night marks the final night of the regular high school football season and WILO AM/FM and Shine 99 TV will be there for a pair of games.

Don Stock and Karl Kercheval will be at Clinton Prairie as the Gophers try to get above the .500 mark with a victory against visiting Eastern. Game time is 7 p.m. The Gophers are 4-4 following last week’s 69-27 loss to Carroll. Prairie has allowed 20 or less points just twice this season. Eastern comes in at 5-3 and on a two-game losing streak after last week’s 52-16 loss to Sheridan. Tune in for the pre-game show and then game coverage of 96.9 FM or 1570 AM to hear the contest.

Shine TV has the non-conference contest between Sheridan and South Decatur at Sheridan beginning at 7:30 p.m. Sheridan wrapped up the Hoosier Heartland Conference title with a 52-16 victory over Eastern last week and are 6-2 on the season. The Cougars come in 4-4 and on a two-game winning streak following last week’s 39-0 win over Oldenburg Academy. The playoffs begin for everybody Friday, Oct. 20 and both WILO and Shine TV will have opening-round sectional games.
