Indiana School Boards Association Hosts Webinars For Upcoming School Board Candidates

The Carroll County Clerk’s Office released information regarding a series of Indiana School Boards Association webinars for individuals looking toward running as a 2024 School Board Candidate for the election in November.

Those seeking a position as a school board member in the upcoming November election have been invited to attend a webinar session with the Indiana School Boards Association to learn more about the role, responsibilities and legal knowledge of what to expect if they are elected. The webinars will also be open to answering questions that may help potential candidates figure out whether becoming a school board member is the correct choice for them.

The 2024 School Board Candidate 101 Webinar dates are in May and June, are expected to last around 90 minutes and are free of charge. Webinar dates include:

  • May 9 at 7 p.m.
  • May 14 at 11:30 a.m.
  • May 22 at 7 p.m.
  • June 13 at 11:30 p.m.
