Rossville Consolidated School District is proud to announce a significant professional milestone achieved by Mr. Kyle Etherington. Mr. Etherington successfully completed 18 graduate-level credit hours through the Teach Dual Credit Indiana program during the Winter/Spring 2025 semester, officially qualifying him to teach dual credit courses.
When he began the program, Mr. Etherington identified a need to complete additional coursework to meet the credentialing standards for dual credit instruction. Through his dedication, discipline, and commitment to student success, he has now earned this distinguished qualification. His achievement not only reflects personal and professional growth but also opens new doors for Rossville students to access rigorous college-level coursework during high school.
“This is a tremendous accomplishment for Mr. Etherington and a big win for our students,” said Rossville Middle/Senior High School Principal, Mr. Hammons. “Dual credit opportunities allow our students to earn college credits while still in high school, giving them a valuable head start on their postsecondary goals—at no cost to families.”
With Mr. Etherington’s credentialing, Rossville students can now earn up to six college credits in U.S. History (HIST 101/HIST 102). These credits contribute toward the Indiana College Core (ICC), a 30-credit hour block that transfers seamlessly to public colleges and universities across Indiana. To complete the ICC, students must earn at least three college credits in six key categories:
Quantitative Reasoning:
AP Calculus AB (Math 211) – Mr. Remaly | 4 credits
AP Calculus BC (Math 212) – Mr. Remaly | 4 credits

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Etherington on this achievement and thanking him for his continued dedication to academic excellence. His efforts enhance the educational landscape for our students and strengthen the pathways available to them after graduation.
