The City of Frankfort is thrilled to announce its inaugural Community Connection Day, an event designed to bring residents together for an afternoon of fun, food, and fellowship. This family-friendly event will take place on June 24th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Old Stoney – City Hall, 301 E. Clinton Street.
Community Connection Day aims to foster stronger bonds among Frankfort residents through a variety of engaging activities. Attendees can look forward to DJ/Music, Food Truck(s), “Touch-A-Truck” experience, a tour of Old Stoney, and more. The event also includes a “Meet & Greet” with local City officials and City departments.
Mayor Judy Sheets emphasized the significance of the event, stating, “Frankfort is a city built on strong community ties, and Community Connection Day is a wonderful opportunity to reinforce those bonds. Creating a fun, friendly atmosphere, especially during lunch, allows our residents to truly connect, share stories, and build relationships that strengthen our city.”
The City’s Community Development Director, Kimberly Black, echoed this sentiment, adding, “We believe that a thriving community is one where neighbors know and support each other. ‘Let’s Do Lunch’ is more than just a meal; it’s a chance to engage, laugh, and simply enjoy being part of Frankfort. We’ve curated an afternoon of activities that ensure there’s something for everyone, from the youngest attendees to our cherished seniors.”
All residents of Frankfort and Clinton County are invited to attend.
