Two Arrested in Howard County Drug Investigation

Recently, an illegal narcotics investigation by officers from the Indiana State Police and the Howard County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrests of two Kokomo men.

Thursday afternoon, officers executed a search warrant on a residence at 2122 North Washington Street, Kokomo. During their search, officers allegedly found two handguns, numerous rounds of ammunition, over 500 Alprazolam pills, marijuana, 66 THC cartridges, numerous digital scales, packaging material, drug paraphernalia, and $10,242.00 in United States currency.

An occupant of the home, Kailum Davis, 25, was incarcerated in the Howard County Jail. He faces criminal charges for possession of marijuana, dealing marijuana, possession of a scheduled IV narcotic, dealing in a schedule IV narcotic, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brandon Smith, 27, Kokomo, was at the home. He was incarcerated in the Howard County Jail for visiting a common nuisance.
