A total of 14 individuals have filed their paperwork to run for positions in Clinton County for the May Primary.
Five individuals have filed for the Clinton County Council. They are incumbents Clark Beard, Jeff Chynoweth and Mike Hensley along with newcomers Frankie Crew and Lewis Wheeler.
Three individuals have filed to be a Clinton County Commissioner. They are incumbents Steve Woods (District 1) and Josh Uitts (District 2) and challenger Mark Timmons (District 1)
Newcomers Josh Lee and Ed Cripe have filed for Clinton County Coroner.
Others who have filed to run are Carol Bartley (Clinton County Treasurer), Beth Keeney (Clinton County Recorder), Justin Hunter (Superior Court Judge) and Dan Sheets (Clinton County Surveyor). All are incumbents.
The deadline to file for county elections was noon Friday.
