Boil Water Advisory Has Been Lifted in Frankfort

The Frankfort Water Works has announced Wednesday afternoon that the boil water advisory that was issued Tuesday has been lifted.

The release from the department said contractor crews have completed their water main work activity and the water mains have been flushed and tested. Your tap water is now safe to use for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth and preparing food. They recommend that you open your kitchen sink cold water tap and allow your water to run for about 10 minutes to clear your water service all the way out to their water main.

For more information, individuals can contact Mike Beck of the Frankfort Water Works at 765-654-5556.
