Inside INdiana Business is reporting that thirteen Indiana nonprofits have been awarded grants from Subaru of Indiana Foundation. The foundation awarded over $107,000 to the organizations in eight counties.
Grants are awarded twice a year to nonprofits seeking up to $15,000 in capital funding for arts and culture, health and welfare or education-related projects.
Recipients are:
- Camp Tecumseh YMCA – $1,269.12 – Health center beds
- Dayton Police Department – $5,829 – Radar speed signs
- Delphi Community High School – $9,295 – CNA Program equipment
- Hancock County Children’s Choir – $1,186.50 – Storage cart
- Kouts Volunteer Fire Department – $7,475 – Fire helmets and fronts
- LaCrosse Volunteer Fire Department – $8,500 – Bunker gear
- Lewis Cass Schools – $14,581 – Factory simulator
- North White School Corp. – $13,351 – Instruments, chairs, stands, uniforms
- Wea Ridge Middle School – $9,112 – Water bottle refilling stations
- West Lafayette Police Department – $5,800 – Aggressor suits, student suits, equipment bags
- Westminster Neighborhood Services – $13,462.16 – Kitchen supplies and equipment
- William Henry Harrison High School – $9,874.41 – Auditorium microphone equipment
- YMCA Greater Lafayette – $7,277 – Handicap accessible ramp
