Out And About Weekly Schedule August 21-27

Out and About will be a weekly feature of Clinton County Daily News.com that looks at all the Community Events during that week in and around our area. This week we are looking at Monday, August 21 through Sunday, August 27. Also included in the week’s activities will be our Partyline guests. Partyline airs at 8:30 a.m., 5 p.m. and midnight Monday through Friday on WILO. Area sports show Inside the Huddle is on at 9 a.m. Saturday morning and rebroadcast at 7 p.m. Sunday evening.

Watershed Program Stakeholder Listening Session being held at Kirklin Community Center, 8:30-10:30 a.m.

State Road 39 will close for bridge rehabilitation work near Reagan. The road will be closed between County Road 650 South and County Road 550 South mid-November

Indiana Bacon Festival in Delphi

City of Frankfort Summer Concert Series at Prairie Creek Park. Next concert date will feature Like Mother, Like Daughter followed by The Bishops. Opening act starts at 6:30 p.m.

Kirklin Christian Church is having a Fish Fry Fundraiser with the proceeds to benefit Oliver Thorley’s Journey with Ewing Sarcoma from 4-7 p.m. Cost is $15 for adults , children ages 6-10 is $7 and those six-and-under are free.

Sapphire Bay will be open on weekends only for the remainder of the season. Saturday hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday hours are noon to 7 p.m.
