Clinton County Treasurer’s Office Unveils New Tax Bill

The Clinton County Treasurer’s office has changed to a new style of tax bill.  We would like to share this with our taxpayers so they can see our new and improved look!

The basic format is the same:  we mail one time per year.  This year’s mailing date is April 10 (five days earlier than the state mandated deadline of April 15).

Each statement contains two tear off coupons (1 for spring and 1 for fall).  Improvements include more information on the coupon itself, and an easier to read appearance.  The Spring installment is due May 10 and Fall is Nov. 13.

Taxpayers are reminded to bring all statements to the office when they pay or include the coupon if mailing.  Other payment options are included on the statement, available online at clintonco.com or taxpayers can call with questions at 659-6325.

The Treasurer’s office sent 26,096 statements for 2017 pay 2018 tax bills.  The total of taxes billed is $37,308,162.99.
