Kaspar Media will hold its Third Annual Points of Light Volunteer Fair at 51 West from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9. Each year about 30 area non-profit organizations participate.
The mission of the “Points of Light Volunteer Fair” is to inspire, recognize and encourage people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. Non-profit organizations will be invited to communicate their mission and promote their volunteer needs. The fair is being held during National Volunteer Week April 7-13, 2019.
Food and drinks will be served at no charge to all attendees and exhibitors as a “thank you” for participating! Door prizes will be given away to attendees throughout the day. A random drawing will be held for a $500 prize and for a $250 prize for two participating non-profits to use as the non-profit sees fit.
“We look forward to having the Volunteer Fair this year at 51 West” said Russ Kaspar, WILO AM/FM General Manager. “We hope this special day gives businesses, non-profit organizations and area residents an opportunity to work together to get things done for our community by sharing time and talents with others” Kaspar said.
Space will be available to non-profits on a first come, first served basis at no charge.
Any businesses or organizations interested in participating should call 765-659-3338 and talk to Liz DeRosa, Russ Kaspar or Karen Butcher.
