A West Lafayette man is facing numerous charges after leading police on a high speed chase Monday morning through Clinton County. Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle traveling eastbound on State Road 26 at a high rate of speed. The vehicle failed to stop for officers and continued at a high rate of speed, nearing 100 miles per hour. 39 year old Floyd Treece of West Lafayette eventually rolled the vehicle after crashing it. After being treated, Treece tested positive for methamphetamine. Formal Charges are pending from the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office.
